At The Food Initiative we love to use the best quality ingredients from farm suppliers in the UK. We choose to work with producers who farm in a natural and ethical way and enjoy knowing where our ingredients come from and how they are produced. We have met many of the farmers and seen their operations which gives us the confidence and knowledge to promote them. We are always on the look out for new farm suppliers and often search for local suppliers to work with when we operate events around the UK and in Europe.

Italian Artisan Cheese & Charcuterie - Gastronomica Borough Market
Gastronomica was founded in 2000 by Italian entrepreneur and food lover Marco Vineis who has a passion for supporting and promoting small artisan food producers, particularly from his unspoilt home region Piedmont.
This passion took him away from a corporate career and led to the opening of Gastronomica in Borough Market, where the Gastronomica team have created a fantastic destination for their unique products and famous Panini and Piadina.
Marco’s passion has not been lost on countless chefs who have refined their Italian offerings through his knowledge; he is also pretty well known for his own culinary skills.
