Two family celebrations over two summer weekends at Ripley Castle, Harrogate. Lucy’s amazing vision for both, an incredible team of suppliers, entertainers and wonderful guests. We had the time of our lives.
We were over the moon to be asked to be part of this epic family summer! A 21st and a family reunion, after all that covid had done to separate us. Weekend one, was a mix of Ibiza festival vibes, with Asian sharing starters of amazing Sushi hand rolled at the event by our incredible sushi chef Kai, a main course full of Spanish colour and flair to fill up the party people and roaming desserts so nothing could keep them from the dancefloor and the legendary sounds of The Kooks.
For weekend two, it felt like Soho Farmhouse goes North. We started with canapes on the terrace over looking the stunning lake in the shadow of Ripley castle. Guests took their seats for elegant sharing starters full of the best of summer’s fresh flavours, juicy & sweet Madagascan prawns cooked over the wood fire grills & glazed short ribs just melting from the bone, to finish a dessert and cheese bar for guests to graze from as they enjoyed the amazing music from the incredible Razorlight.
The styling of the room, the setting by the lake, and the incredible attention to detail shown by Lucy and her team made our summer in Harrogate so memorable, we can’t wait for the next one!
