Kachette

The Food Initiative are proud to be preferred caterer at Kachette, a venue restored from London’s Victorian railway heritage and situated in the buzzing surroundings of Old Street.

Once home to the ticket hall of Shoreditch Railway station which operated from this location in 1865, Kachette is a popular railway arch event space located under live railway bridges on Old Street in Shoreditch. The unique arched ceiling venue provides a versatile space for parties and has hosted many brand launches and popups. Kachette is also licensed with Hackney Council for weddings and offers the perfect industrial back drop for modern weddings.

Venue features include exposed Victorian era brickwork, industrial lighting truss, vintage wrought iron front door and gates and Kachette's trademark station clock.

The venue can be hired exclusively for one or two room corporate or private events. The dry hire space comes equipped with PA’s in both arches, a 1gbps internet connection, a cloak room and large street front billboards on Old Street for high visibility advertising space.

The venue can accommodate 180 standing in Arch 1 or up to 330 standing guests across both rooms. Seated capacities in the front arch are 60 to 80 theatre style or 110 seated theatre style in the back arch.
